Spirometry Training Company is proud to work alongside Coal Services Health in providing the spirometry training for Nurses and Medical Practitioners involved in NSW Order 43.
The Coal Services Board has approved changes to the health monitoring requirements for NSW coal workers in response to the re-emergence of coal workers’ pneumoconiosis (CWP). This new Order 43 will be taking effect from 1st July 2018, and replaces Order 41.
Under Order 43 there is a new training requirement for health professionals conducting order 43 medical assessments.
Medical Practitioners and Nurses are now required to complete an approved spirometry training course, under the new order.
